Price types overview
Price types classify product prices. A product can have various prices. For example, along with a base price, a product can have a wholesale price and a price for regular customers.
In 1C:Drive, price types are assigned to customers and applied to sales documents. This determines product prices in the documents. Prices based on price types apply to sales documents when you select a customer. This saves your time on data input and ensures a selling price is as agreed.
1C:Drive stores all selling price types in the Price types catalog. To open it:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Catalogs, click Price types.

- Register a price type.
- Assign the price type to a counterparty.
- Set a price based on the price type.
Using price types is optional. You can specify prices in your sales documents manually.
