Viewing price types
To view price types:
- Go to Sales
- Under Catalogs, click Price types.
The Price types list is displayed. By default, it includes the following price types:
- Accounting price. The default price type for the settings of the Components calculation report (available from Production > More reports).
- Wholesale price. The default price type for sales documents.
The columns of the Price types list can vary depending on the list settings. By default, the following columns are available:
- Description. A short description of a price type.
- Taxable. Indicates whether the value added tax is included in prices based on the price type. For example, VAT can be included in retail prices.
The Taxable field is available if, for least one of the companies, the accounting policy states that the company is registered for VAT (the Registered for VAT checkbox is selected on the Finance tab of the accounting policy). - Note. Additional price type details.
To quickly find price types:
- Sort the list by column by clicking a column header. You can sort by any column except Note. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
- Search the list using the search field above the list. You can search by the price type description or note.
To view the price type details:
- Double-click a price type line.
