A candidate is an individual that applies for one or several vacancies and may go through the recruitment process.

1C:Drive stores all candidates in the Candidates catalog. To open it:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.

In the Candidates catalog, you can:

Viewing candidates

To view candidates:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.

The Candidates list shows the details of all candidates. The details may vary depending on the list settings. The following details can be available:

  • Code. A candidate ID.
  • Candidate. A candidate's full name.
  • Phones. A candidate's phone numbers.
  • Emails. A candidate's emails.

To quickly find a candidate in the list:

  • Sort the list by clicking the column header. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
  • Search the list using the search field above the list.

To view the candidate details:

  • In the Candidates catalog, double-click a candidate line.

Creating candidates

To create a candidate:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.
  3. In the Candidates catalog, click Create.
  4. Fill in a candidate's general details:
    • Full name
    • Date of birth
    • Gender
  5. Optional: To add the candidate's phone number or email, click +phone, address, select Phone or Email respectively, and enter a phone number or email.
  6. Optional: To add the candidate's photo, click the Add an image placeholder, select the candidate's photo, and click Open.
  7. Optional: In the CV text field, input the candidate's curriculum vitae. To edit its text, use buttons in the text toolbar above the field. For example, change the font size, highlight text, or insert links.
  8. Optional: To attach files to the candidate's card, click Attachments in the link bar and click Add. To learn more, see Adding candidate attachments.
  9. Click Save and close.
    If you perform step 8, you need to click Main in the link bar to view the Save and close button.

Editing candidate details

To edit a candidate's details:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.
  3. In the Candidates catalog, double-click a candidate line.
  4. Edit the candidate details in the same way as when you create the candidate. For details, see Creating candidates.
  5. Click Save and close.

Generating candidate interactions

To generate a candidate interaction for a vacancy:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.
  3. In the Candidates catalog, select or double-click a candidate line.
  4. Click Generate > Candidate interaction.
  5. Fill in the candidate interaction details in the same way as in the Candidate interactions catalog. For details, see Creating candidate interactions.
  6. Click Post and close.

Adding candidate attachments

You might need to store files related to a candidate. For example, a CV in PDF format or a pre-employment test completed by the candidate. In 1C:Drive, you can add such files as attachments to a candidate card. To do this:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.
  3. In the Candidates catalog, double-click a candidate line.
  4. In the link bar of the candidate card, click Attachments.
  5. Click Add > File from hard drive.
  6. In the file selection window, select the required file and click Open.

The file appears in the Attachments list.

Viewing candidate interaction history

To view the history of interactions with a candidate for vacancies:

  1. Go to HCM.
  2. Under Recruitment, click Candidates.
  3. In the Candidates catalog, double-click a candidate line.
  4. In the link bar of the candidate card, click Candidate interaction history.

The Candidate interaction history is displayed. It shows the following details:

  • Vacancy. A vacancy description.
  • Application date. The creation date of the first interaction with the candidate for a vacancy.
  • Interaction date. The creation date of this candidate interaction.
  • Expected salary. The candidate's salary expectation.
  • Stage. A vacancy stage at which this candidate interaction occurred.
  • Status. The status of the vacancy stage at which this candidate interaction occurred.
  • Final decision. The final hiring decision on the candidate. It is filled in only for the last interaction with a candidate.
