Production task overview
If your work-in-progress document includes sets of similar technological operations, you may choose to group them into production tasks.
This is useful when you want to split execution of such operations between several employees or employee teams, or set different due dates to some of the operations.
For example, if your work-in-progress document includes ten operations for painting a wooden stool, you can group them into three production tasks (in any proportion, for example, 4–3–3) and assign each task to a different team.
Production tasks can be used in the following processes:

Production tasks arise from work-in-progress documents.
1C:Drive allows one-to-many relation for production tasks. This means you can register several production tasks for one source document, but cannot register one production task for several source documents.
1C:Drive stores all production tasks in the Production tasks list. To open it:
- Go to Production.
- Under Production, click Production tasks.
In this list, you can:
- View production tasks
- Create production tasks
- Assign production tasks
- Split production tasks
- Complete production tasks
- Cancel production tasks
- Edit production tasks
- Print production task lists
- View production task transaction records
To start using production tasks, do the following:
- Go to Settings.
- Under Accounting settings, click Production.
- Under Other, select the Use production tasks checkbox.
