The Finished products tab of a production document contains the list of products that were manufactured, assembled, or disassembled.

To learn about the Finished products tab fields, see the following table:

Field Description
Transfer to (finished products) A warehouse (and, optionally, a storage bin) that stores the manufactured or assembled products.
The field is only available if Process type is set to Convert from Work-in-progress or Assembly.
The Storage bin field is only available if the Inventory accounting by storage bins checkbox is selected in Settings > Purchases/Warehouse.
Consume from A warehouse (and, optionally, a storage bin) from which the disassembled products were consumed.
The field is only available if Process type is set to Disassembly.
The Storage bin field is only available if the Inventory accounting by storage bins checkbox is selected in Settings > Purchases/Warehouse.
Product A product name.
The list of values is based on the Products catalog and includes products of the Inventory type.
Variant A product characteristic. For example, color or size.
You can specify a variant if accounting by variants is enabled and applies to the product (in the product card, the Variants checkbox is selected on the Additional data tab).
The list of values is based on the Product variants catalog.
Batch A product batch code.
You can specify a batch if accounting by batches is enabled and applies to the product (in the product card, the Batches checkbox is selected on the Additional data tab).
Serial numbers A product's serial number.
It is used to track products by serial numbers.
You can specify a serial number if accounting by serial numbers is enabled and applies to the product (in the product card, the Serial numbers checkbox is selected on the Additional data tab).
Quantity The number of product items that were manufactured, assembled, or disassembled.
Reservation The number of product units stored at your warehouse that are reserved for this production document.
The field is only available if Process type is set to Disassembly.
Unit A unit of measure for the product.
It is prefilled with a base unit from the product card.
You can specify another unit if a product has additional units.
Bill of materials A list of components required to manufacture a product.
This field is automatically filled from the product card when you select a product.
GL accounts GL accounts for recording inventory balance.
They are available if the default accounting is applied (Use default type of accounting is selected in Settings > Company).
