Resource purchasing service sales
Here you will find out how to activate functions to provide resource purchasing services.
This interaction takes place when your enterprise has unique opportunities or beneficial terms for purchasing goods or services required by the customer. The customer orders goods from your enterprise. After that, the enterprise sends a purchase order for these goods, receives them at the warehouse, and ships them to the customer.
Start setting up only after you set up VMI procurement, enable Contracts with customers, and select the Assign goods and services: By sales order functional option.
Activate Agent (consignment) services delivery on purchasing goods and services
Activate all the functions to manage the delivery of agent services on purchasing goods and services.

What you can do after activation
Now you can use system objects related to the delivery of agent services on purchasing goods and services:
- A special business transaction in Terms of sales, Contract with customer, Sales order.
- Purchase notification document.
Select Assign goods and services for agent purchases
Define a system object kind that will be an assignment at assigned goods fulfillment when you deliver purchasing agent services.

What you can do after activation
When you select By sales order, an assignment object is a sales order. It allows you to provide goods directly under the order, for which these goods are required.
When you select By contract with customer, an assignment object is a customer contract. It allows you to provide goods under the contract with a consignor/principal.
