VMI procurement
Here you will find out how to activate functions to fill up VMI from vendors under VMI contracts with the right to sell these goods to other customers.
VMI focuses on the relations with a vendor when they regularly fill up VMI to consume it or sell it to third parties later. If the inventory is not in demand, the vendor picks it up from the customer's warehouse.
Activate VMI procurement
Activate all functions to manage VMI fill-up, register goods consumption/sales, vendor notifications of goods consumption/sales, pick up inventory from the customer's warehouse.
You cannot disable this function if you activate the Agent purchases function.

What you can do after activation
Now you can access system objects related to VMI procurement, including:
- A special business transaction in Terms of purchases, Vendor contract, Purchase order.
- VMI procurement document.
- VMI pick-up request from vendor document.
- Purchase invoice — VMI document.
- VMI adjustment document.
