Units of measure classifier

The UOM classifier (units of measure classifier) stores all units of measure that can apply to products you sell or buy.

In 1C:Drive, you can set base and additional units of measure for a product. To learn more, see Units of measure catalog. When you register a product, you set its base unit of measure. You select it from the UOM classifier.

In the UOM classifier, you can:

• View units of measure.
• Register units of measure.
• Edit units of measure.

Viewing units of measure

To view units of measure:

• Go to Company > All catalogs > Products > UOM classifier.

The UOM classifier columns can vary depending on the list settings. By default, the following column is available:

• Short name. A unit of measure abbreviation or short description. It goes to the print forms of sales and purchase documents.
• Full name. A unit of measure full name.

To quickly find a unit of measure:

• Sort the classifier by column by clicking a column header. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
• Search the classifier using the search field above the units of measure list. You can search by short or full name.

To view the unit of measure details:

• In the UOM classifier, double-click a unit of measure line.

Registering units of measure

To register a unit of measure:

1. Go to Company > All catalogs > Products > UOM classifier.
2. Click Create.
3. In the Unit of measure (create) window, enter short name and full name for a unit of measure.
4. Click Save and close.

Editing units of measure

You can edit units of measure. To do this:

1. Go to Company > All catalogs > Products > UOM classifier.
2. Double-click a unit of measure.
3. Edit the unit of measure details. To learn more, see Registering units of measure.
4. Click Save and close.
