Creating tasks
You can create and assign tasks that need to be completed within a project phase or subphase. Do this when a project has the Open or In progress status.
To create a task:
- Go to Company.
- Under Project management, click Projects.
- In the Projects catalog, do any of the following:
- Select a project line where Status is Open or In progress. Then click Project workplace.
- Double-click a project line where Status is Open or In progress. Then, in the project details window, click Project workplace.
- In the project workplace, do any of the following:
- Select a phase line where Status is In progress. Then click Create task.
- Select a phase line where Status is In progress and click Open phase. Then, in the phase details window, click Create task.
- In the task details window, specify the following:
Field Description Description A task name or short description. Assignee A person responsible for the task completion.
By default, it is prefilled with the project phase assignee. You can change this assignee.
The assignee list is based on the list of users registered in 1C:Drive.Importance A task priority. If a task priority is High, the Tasks list will show the task in a bold red font, with an exclamation mark next to it. Due date The planned due date of a task.
By default, it is prefilled with the planned end date of the project phase. You can change it. - Optional: Under Subject, in the text field, enter the task details.
- Click Start and close.
The task will appear on the task assignee's My tasks pane of the Home page. You can track the task completion in the Tasks list. For details, see Monitoring task statuses and dates.
