Project selection tool

The project selection tool helps you select projects or project phases in business documents to record and track income and expenses by project or project phase.

The tool is available if the Use project-based accounting checkbox is selected in Settings > Company, under Project management.

To open the tool and select a project or project phase in a business document:

  1. Open a business document.
  2. Locate the Project / Project phase field.
    The field position depends on the document settings. For example, this can be the Additional information tab or Products tab.
  3. In the Project / Project phase field, click 3dots.png.

    The project selection tool is displayed. By default, it shows all projects.
    If the Track income and expenses by project phase checkbox is selected in a project's settings, the project selection tool also shows the project phases. By default, the project phase list is collapsed. To expand it, click collapse.png next to a project name.

  4. Select a project or project phase and click Select.

    Note. To quickly find a project or project phase, you can:

    • In the Search field above the project list, specify a project or project phase name and press Enter.
    • Select the Show only my projects checkbox. This will display only the projects created under the current 1C:Drive user.
    • Change the sort order of the project list by clicking asc_sort_order.png (for ascending sort order) or asc_sort_order.png(for descending sort order).
