Components tab
The Components tab of a production task contains the list of components to be consumed during the operation included in a production task.

| Field | Description |

| Product | Component name or short description. |
| Variant | A component characteristic such as color or size. You can specify a variant if accounting by variants is enabled and applies to the component (in the component's product card, the Variants checkbox is selected on the Additional data tab). The variant list is based on the Product variants catalog. |
| Quantity | Quantity of component items that will be consumed. If you import components from a bill of materials (BOM), Quantity is automatically calculated by the following formula: Quantity = component Quantity from BOM × operation Quantity from the Main tab / operation Quantity from BOM |
| Unit | A unit of measure for the component. It is prefilled with a base unit from the component card. You can specify another unit if a component has additional units. |
