Planning interval

A minimum period for scheduling operations in the multioperation make-to-order process. This period is defined for a production department depending on the production process needs. The shorter the period, the more detailed the production schedule. For instance, if this period is 5 minutes, operations are scheduled for each 5-minutes interval within a planning horizon.
