Installing patches

To manually install a patch:

  1. Start the application.
  2. Sign in as a user with Administrator user rights.
  3. Go to Settings > Support and Service.

  4. Expand the Application update section and click any of the following links to upload a patch file:
    • Install updates and patches
    • Installed patches

      If you click Install updates and patches, the file selection window is automatically displayed. Select a patch file. In this example, BulkMailing.

      Then click Next.

      If you click Installed patches, the Installed patches window is displayed. In this window, click Install patch.

      This will open the same file selection window as described above.

      Select a patch file. In this example, BulkMailing. Then, click Next.

  5. In the Security warning window, click Continue.

    It might take some time to install the selected patch. After it is installed, you will see a notification informing you that the patch is installed, but it will be applied after you restart the application.

  6. To restart the application and apply the patch, select the Restart application checkbox and click Finish.

    Note. You might be prompted to exit the application. To do so and restart the application, click Exit.

  7. After the application is restarted, check that the patch has been applied. To do this, go to Settings > Support and Service, expand the Application update section and click Installed patches. The installed patch is in the patches list now.

If a patch cannot be installed and the application shows a notification on installation errors, this means the patch does not match the current application version. For example, you might need to update the application version. Then try again.
