You can send out text messages to reach out to mobile users and engage with your leads, customers, and vendors.

Setting up SMS client

Before you can start sending text messages, you need to set up SMS client.

Composing text messages

You can compose a message:

To compose and send a text message from Business interactions workplace:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Under Personal settings, click Business interactions.
  3. Click Create and select Text message.
  4. To add a recipient, click the Recipients tab and click Add. Then, type a phone number or choose one from the Address Book.
  5. Write your message.
  6. Click Send.

Composing a message from a document

Some of 1C:Drive documents support sending messages. You can recognize them by Add interaction icon on their toolbar.

When you send a text message from such a document, the name of the selected document becomes the message topic, and the document counterparty becomes the message recipient.

To compose and send a text message from a document:

  1. Open a document list that supports sending messages.
  2. Do either of the following:
    • Select a document with the counterparty you want to send a message to.
    • Open a document with the counterparty you want to send a message to.
  3. Do either of the following:
    • Click Add interaction and select Compose text message to write a message.
    • Click Organizer and select Send text message... to create a message from template.
  4. To add a recipient, click the Recipients tab and click Add. Then, type a phone number or choose one from the Address Book.
  5. Write your message.
  6. Click Send.
