Counterparty segments

Counterparty segments are user-defined dynamic filters for the Counterparties catalog. For example, you can have a counterparty segment that includes only counterparties from Germany with at least one sales order registered during this year.

1C:Drive stores all counterparty segments in the Counterparty segments list. To open it:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.

Viewing counterparty segments

To view counterparty segments:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.

The Counterparty segments list is displayed. It shows counterparty segment details. The details can vary depending on the list settings. By default, the following details are available:

  • Description. Name or brief description of the counterparty segment.
  • Note. A note with additional details on the counterparty segment.
  • Code. A counterparty segment ID.

To quickly find certain counterparty segments:

  • Sort the list by Description or Code by clicking a column header. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
  • Search the list using the Search field above it.

To view details of a specific counterparty segment:

  • Double-click a counterparty segment line.

Viewing counterparty segment content

To view the counterparties currently included in a counterparty segment:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.
  3. Double-click a counterparty segment.
  4. In the counterparty segment's link bar, click Segment content.
To force update a counterparty segment's content, click Main in the segment's link bar and then click Update segment content.

Creating counterparty segments

To create a counterparty segment:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.
  3. Click Create.
  4. Fill in Description.
  5. Specify filter criteria:
    • Double-click one of filter fields listed in the Available filter criteria pane, or drag it to the right pane.
    • Specify condition and value.
    • Repeat to specify as many filter criteria as you need.
      All criteria apply at the same time. In other words, a counterparty segment will include only the counterparties that satisfy ALL of the criteria you specified.

    For example, you might create a counterparty segment with two filter criteria:
    | Field | Condition | Value |
    | ----------------------- | ------------ | ---------------------- |
    | Country (legal address) | Equal to | Germany |
    | Last order date | Greater than | Beginning of this year |

    This counterparty segment will include counterparties from Germany with at least one sales order registered during this year.

  6. Optional: Fill in Note.
  7. Click Save and close.

Creating groups of counterparty segments

You can arrange counterparty segments into groups as you need. Groups help classify the counterparty segments and navigate through the segment list, especially when the counterparty segments are numerous.

To create a group of counterparty segments:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.
  3. Click Create group.
  4. Fill in Description.
  5. Optional: Specify Grouping if you want to include the new group in another group.
  6. Click Save and close.

Adding counterparty segments to groups

To add a counterparty segment to a group:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.
  3. Drag the segment to the group.

Editing counterparty segments

To edit a counterparty segment:

  1. Go to CRM.
  2. Under CRM, click Counterparty segments.
  3. In the Counterparty segments list, double-click a counterparty segment.
  4. Edit the counterparty segment details and filter criteria in the same way as when you create the counterparty segment. For details, see Creating counterparty segments.
