Business analysis
Generating a report set is not always a final goal of the consolidation procedure. Intercompany users often need a variety of analytical reports generated based on separate and consolidated statements and allow them to view and compare financial and operational indicators from different angles.
The configuration contains tools for arbitrary analysis of data accumulated in the infobase and contained in external infobases. These are analytical reports.
Analytical reports represent information from current or external infobases as tables, charts, or key indicator efficiency dashboards. You can use analytical reports independently or as a part of analytical dashboards. They allow you to analyze data in various breakdowns and have functions that expand their analytical capabilities. For example, ABC classification, sample materiality management, and so on.
You can display analytical reports as:
- Tables or charts
- Key indicator dashboard
You can group analytical reports into analytical dashboards.
Analytical dashboard is a stable set of several analytical reports. Analytical dashboards are focused on analyzing information of a certain functional area, such as sales analysis, assortment, and so on, or used by a certain employee or their group. For example, the sales rep dashboard.
