Technician mode
In the user interface of 1C client applications, the technician mode is implemented. This mode is for implementation specialists and application developers. It is turned off by default. To turn it on, go to the application's options.
This mode adds several functions to the application's user interface that help the developer to navigate faster and perform additional service operations.
In the technician mode, one can view the structure of configuration objects in a way similar to Designer. In this structure, one can open the form of any required object directly, without going through the user interface of the application. This can be useful for working with service objects that cannot be normally accessed through the user interface.

Technician mode also provides access to standard platform features such as active user list, logbook, data change history, totals management, etc.

In the technician mode, one also can find out the full name of any metadata object that is displayed in the user interface, by right-clicking its displayed name. This feature is supported for:
- Forms
- Open panel items
- Function menu items

If the application is running in debug mode, you can immediately open the object in Designer from this window or directly from the context menu.
