Database management system

   

The database management system (DBMS) is a program or (more commonly) a system of programs which handle database maintenance and management.

The platform supports five DBMS.

Among these is the file DBMS, which is proprietary to 1C and is delivered as a part of the platform.

The rest are third-party DBMS:

		Microsoft SQL Server			PostgreSQL
		IBM DB2			Oracle Database
