Here you can enable registering consumption of goods received directly from warehouses.

Inventory consumption is a universal resource usage functionality. You can use it for additional enterprise operations that do not have special features for resource usage. Additional operations include general business, general production, and commercial operations.

Besides, you can use this functionality to generate the cost of a fixed asset you purchase and reclassify inventory into assets.

What you can do after activation

When you select By line of business, the assignment object is a line of business. It allows you to fulfill demand for internal business unit needs under the line of business.

When you select By inventory consumption order, the assignment object is an inventory consumption order. It allows you to fulfill demand under orders that record goods required for internal business unit needs.

What you can do after activation

You can specify the following statuses in the Inventory consumption order document:

Created. Goods for issue/shipment from the warehouse are reserved.
Confirmed. Demand for goods under the order is already fulfilled. The goods are in stock. At this stage, you can issue/ship goods from the warehouse and then register inventory consumption.
Closed. Order fulfillment is confirmed. The goods are fully issued/shipped from the warehouse, or unshipped items are canceled.
