VMI fill-up
Here you will find out how to activate VMI fill-up under VMI contracts with the right to sell these goods to other customers.
VMI focuses on relations with a customer when an enterprise regularly fills up VMI to consume it or sell it to third parties later. If the inventory is not in demand, the company picks it up from the customer's warehouse.
Before the setup, make sure the Contracts with customers function is activated. For more information on the setup, see Presales.
Activate VMI fill-up
Enable VMI-based sales.
Activate all functions to manage goods supply to the customer's warehouse, register customer notifications of goods consumption/sales, goods pick-up from the customer's warehouse.

Now you can access system objects related to VMI fill-up, including:
- A special business transaction in Terms of sales, Contract with customer, Sales order.
- VMI fill-up document.
- VMI return document.
- Sales invoice — VMI sold document.
- Customer stock adjustment document.
