What you can do after activation
You can use all required system objects related to consignment sales, including:
- Special business transactions in the Terms of sales and Contract with customer catalog items.
- Special business transactions Sales via consignee and Sales via consignee (goods in transit) in the Sales order and Customer invoice documents.
- Consignment sales document.
- Receipt of goods from consignee document.
- Sales return document with the Return of goods via consignee transaction type.
- Consignment issue notification document.
With this setting, you can:
- Register transactions for sales, return, and adjustment of goods to customers via a consignee under contracts with regular and deferred transfer of title to goods.
- Register transactions for export sales via a consignee.
- Keep AR/AP accounting on sales via a consignee broken down by end customers.
- Register advances received by a consignee from customers.
- Generate a summary invoice for all sales of a consignee for the period.
- Keep records by consignment stock batches.
- Do physical inventory count of consignment stock and record stock shortage and surplus.
