Here you will find out how to activate and create the system objects required to manage manufacturing operations.

Production business units catalog: Operations

Here you can set up the following functions for each business unit separately, depending on the production process.

Operation dispatching. Use this function to dispatch manufacturing operations manually. With this function, you can:

  • Generate a list of operations required for the stage.
  • Allocate operations to work centers.
  • Specify an assignee and start the operation.
  • Register the operation completion and specify the consumed materials and incurred labor costs.

Operation timetable. With the operation timetable, you can see what equipment will be used for manufacturing operations and when. It also identifies the sequence of tasks for each workplace. Employees receive planning results as shift-daily tasks or work orders.

Operations with shift tasks (unavailable when you use the operation timetable). Shift tasks are set if you need to consolidate routing operations into shift-daily tasks assigned to a certain period.
