1.3.16.21
1. 1C:Drive integration with ProManage.
We integrated 1C:Drive with ProManage to help those who use both solutions for managing the production process. Now the following is supported:
Exporting Work-in-progress documents from 1C:Drive to ProManage.
Importing information about Work-in-progress status to 1C:Drive.
To be able to use these options, go to Settings > Integration > ProManage and select the Use data exchange with ProManage checkbox.
2. External user access.
Now 1C:Drive supports external user access. This is a good option if you want to allow people outside your company to do the following in 1C:Drive:
View certain information (such as accounting details).
Download certain information (such as a products catalog or other files).
Submit support requests.
For example, a customer's accountant might want to view the statement of account and reconciliation statement. Then you can create an external user and set up its access rights. The customer's accountant will be able to use the external user credentials to sign in and view the information available according to the access rights. To be able to allow external user access, go to Settings > Users and rights settings, and under External users, select the Allow external user access checkbox.
3. Combined workflow including in-house production and subcontracting.
We have added more options so that you can apply different production methods for completing production stages. The options are useful for companies where the production process includes stages completed both in-house and by a subcontractor. The options are the following:
Manage production stages where a subcontractor manufactures a finished product while the components for this product are manufactured by a company or a subcontractor or both of them.
Manage production stages where a company manufactures a finished product while components for this product are produced by a subcontractor or the company or both of them.
Use the Demand planning tool to estimate the demand for components required for a subcontractor. In the Demand planning tool, replenishment recommendations are now also based on the data including information about finished products received from a subcontractor.
4. Enhanced Available stock report for production orders.
We redesigned the Available stock report for Production orders. Now you can monitor the availability of components required to complete a certain Production order. For example, you can quickly check which and how many components are out of stock now. The shortage quantity is shown in the Shortage column.
To view the report, open a Production order and at the top of the order, click Available stock.
5. Increased number of BOM levels.
Since this release, you can create BOMs with up to 15 levels. Each BOM level indicates a production stage and you can generate a Work-in-progress to register such a stage. This means, that now you can register up to 15 production stages at once. The details of each production stage will be available for production planning and reporting. This will help you plan and monitor your production process at each stage.
To specify the number of BOM levels that you need, go to Settings > Production and under Other, enter the number in the Max number of BOM levels field.
6. Opening balance entry document enhanced for companies with the FIFO method.
For those who use the FIFO inventory valuation method, we enhanced the "Opening balance entry" document. Now you can enter inventory details such as the details of the document that registered the inventory receipt. The document will be generated (if you specify so) and inventory details will be recorded for further processing according to the FIFO inventory valuation method.
