Creating intra-warehouse transfers

In 1C:Drive, you can create intra-warehouse transfers with several different operations:

• From one to several. Inventory movement from one storage bin to many.
• From several to one. Inventory movement from many storage bins to one.

You can create an intra-warehouse transfer from scratch or generate it from a source document such as supplier invoice. A generated intra-warehouse transfer includes prefilled details and a link to the source document, which reduces manual data entry and ensures document traceability.

To create an intra-warehouse transfer:

1. Do one of the following:
   • To generate an intra-warehouse transfer based on a source document, select or open the document. Then, click Generate > Intra-warehouse transfer.
   • To create an intra-warehouse transfer from scratch, go to Warehouse, and under Warehouse, click Intra-warehouse transfers. Then, in the Intra-warehouse transfers list, click Create.
2. Specify general details:
   • Specify Warehouse where inventory is moved between storage bins.
   • Set Operation to From one to several or From several to one.
   • Specify Storage bin.
     For From one to several operation, specify source storage bin; for From several to one operation, specify destination storage bin.
   • Fill in other fields as needed.
3. Specify products to move between storage bins:
   • To populate inventory automatically from the source document, go to general details and do the following:
     • In the Base document field, specify a source document and click next to it.
   • To fill in inventory directly, go to the Inventory tab and do one of the following:
     • To select products from the Products catalog, click Select. For details, see Product selection in business documents.
     • To fill in all products available in the source storage bin, click Fill in.
       This option is only applicable if both of the following conditions are met:
       • Warehouse is specified.
       • Operation is set to From one to several.
     • To add products manually, click Add and fill in product details. For details, see Inventory tab.
     • To find products by barcode, click .
   In the Storage bin field, for From one to several operation, specify destination storage bin; for From several to one operation, specify source storage bin.
   You can only specify products of the Inventory type.

   To automatically fill batches for inventory items, use the Fill batches by FEFO tool. For details, see Autofilling product batches.

4. Optional: On the Additional information tab, enter additional information.
5. Click Post and close.
