Closing work orders

If a work order is no longer relevant, close it. You can do it at any step of the work order processing.

To close a work order:

  1. Go to Service.
  2. Under Services, click Work orders.
  3. In the Work orders list, select a work order. To select multiple orders, select them while holding down Ctrl or Shift.
  4. Select Close orders.

The work order is closed. The work order might include work items or services not yet performed, materials not yet consumed, and goods for sale not yet invoiced. After the work order is closed, these work or service items, materials consumption, and liabilities on goods for sale are canceled. If the materials and goods for sale have been reserved, the reservations are cancelled as well.

In the Work order list, the Closed column shows a check mark tick.png for closed work orders.
