Specifying price list settings

You can specify a variety of price list settings. All of them are optional, except Description and Company.

To specify price list settings:

Go to Sales.
Under Catalogs, click Price lists.
The Price lists catalog is displayed.
In the Price lists catalog, click Create.
The Price list (create) window is displayed.
In the Description field, specify the name or short description of the price list settings.
On the Appearance tab, specify the layout, grouping, and sorting settings for a price list:
- In the Company field, select a company whose data (such as prices and stock balance) is included in the price list. This field is required and available if the Manage multiple companies checkbox is selected in Settings > Company.
- In the Layout section, select a layout. Then, in the Attributes field, click a link and specify the settings for the price list rows. This indicates which details a row contains.
- In the Grouping section, in the Hierarchy field, select a parameter to group price list data by. Then, specify sorting order and other settings as you need.

On the Products filter tab, specify filters applied to select data for the price list. To select products of a certain product group, price group, or product category, click Add and specify a group or category. Specify also other filters if required. For details, see Products filter tab.
On the Price columns tab, specify the price type to include in the price list. If Layout is List, you can specify multiple price types. To do this, click Add and select a price type. You can also choose a header for the price list column containing product prices. For details, see Price columns tab.
On the Display options tab, specify additional settings indicating which details to include in a price list and how to show them. For example, include a company's contact info and specify headers for price list columns showing stock balance. For details, see Display options tab.
On the Additional information tab, enter a comment about the price list settings.
