The Appearance tab of the price list settings includes settings for the price list layout, grouping, and sorting order.

To learn more about the fields of the Appearance tab, see the following table:

Field Description
Company A company whose data (such as prices and stock balance) is included in the price list.
The company list is based on the Companies catalog.
This field is available if the Manage multiple companies checkbox is selected in Settings > Company.
Layout A price list layout. Select one of the following:
  • List. A single list containing selected details (such as product name and price).
  • Two columns. A list divided into two columns. Each column contains the selected details.
  • Tiles. Rows of icons where each icon contains the selected details.
Attributes A link to the settings for the price list rows. Click the link and specify which details are included in a row. The link name varies. It shows a combination of the selected details. To learn more, see Row settings.
Hierarchy A parameter to group a price list data by. Select one of the following:
  • Product group. Group by product groups specified in product cards (on the General tab, in the Group field).
  • Price group. Group by price groups specified in product cards (on the Additional data tab, in the Price group field).
  • Product category. Group by product categories specified in product cards (on the General tab, in the Product category field).
Sort order A sort order for groups and items included in a price list.
Currency The currency in which prices are shown in a price list.
The list of currencies is based on the Currencies catalog.
It is only available if the Foreign exchange accounting checkbox is selected in Settings > Cash management.
Exchange rate date The effective date of the exchange rate applied to convert a product price currency into a currency selected for a price list.
It is only available if the Foreign exchange accounting checkbox is selected in Settings > Cash management.

Row settings

Row settings are opened from the Attributes field of the Appearance tab. They define which details are included in each row of a price list.

Row settings vary depending on the layout selected for a price list. See Row settings for list layout and Row settings for two columns or tiles layout.

Row settings for list layout

Row settings for List layout include the following tabs:

Tab Description
Row attributes Defines which details to include in a price list. Select the checkboxes of the details that you want to include. For each selected detail, a column will be added to a price list.
Picture Defines the size of the product picture shown in a price list. To specify the picture size, fill in the following fields:
  1. Width. The width of the cell where a picture is shown.
  2. Height. The height of the cell where a picture is shown. To be able to change the height manually, clear the Constrain proportions (1x5) checkbox.
  3. Constrain proportions. Indicates whether the cell height is calculated automatically by multiplying the specified width by 5.
The width and height are in relative units. They are relative to the font size applied to price list columns. When you generate a price list, 1C:Drive takes a picture from a product card and fits it in the cell of the specified width and height.
These settings are available if the Picture checkbox is selected on the Row attributes tab.
Balances Defines how to show available product quantity in a price list. Select one of the following:
  • As number. Show a numeric value.
  • As interpretation. Show a descriptive quantity. This can be any word like Few, Sufficient, Many. If you select this option, specify such words on the Display options tab, in the Stock balances interpretation section.
These settings are available if the Available quantity checkbox is selected on the Row attributes tab.

Row settings for two columns or tiles layout

For row settings for the Two columns or Tiles layout, see the table below. It contains settings, their descriptions, and the layout they apply to:

Setting Description Layout
Products code presentation Defines what to show as a product code in a price list. Select one of the following:
  • Code. The code from a product card.
  • Product ID. The item # from a product card
Two columns, Tiles
Products presentation Defines what to show as a product name in a price list. Select one of the following:
  • Description. The description from a product card.
  • Full description. The full description from a product card.
  • Comment. The notes from a product card.
Two columns, Tiles
Display characteristics Indicates whether to show product variants in a price list.
This setting is relevant if you set different prices for the variants of the same product.
Tiles
Columns settings Indicates the number of tiles to show in each row of a price list. Tiles
Picture Defines the size of the product picture shown in a price list. To specify the picture size, see Picture. Tiles
