Monitoring and changing project statuses

To monitor a project status:

  1. Go to Company.
  2. Under Project management, click Projects.
  3. In the Projects catalog, locate a project line and check its status in the Status column. The status can be one of the following:
    Status Description
    Open Indicates that a project is not started yet. This status is assigned by default to new projects. For a project with this status, you can edit details, add project phases, and create tasks.
    In progress Indicates that a project is already started. For a project with this status, you can edit details, add project phases, and create tasks.
    Completed Indicates that all project activities are already completed, canceled, or postponed. For a project with this status, you cannot add project phases, create tasks, or edit details.

To change a project status:

  1. Go to Company.
  2. Under Project management, click Projects.
  3. In the Projects catalog, double-click a project line.
  4. In the project details window, in the Status field, select a status.
  5. Click Save and close.
You can change project statuses only in the predefined order: Open > In progress > Completed or Completed > In progress > Open.
