Work-in-progress document overview
A work-in-progress document is a document that reflects the progress of manufacturing a single product specified in a production order.
A work-in-progress document can be used in the following processes:
Process | Document purpose |
---|---|
Production | Record completion of operations and consumption of components during the manufacturing process. |
Work-in-progress documents are based on production orders that have Production process type.
1C:Drive stores all work-in-progress documents in the Work-in-progress list. To open it:
- Go to Production.
- Under Production, click Work-in-progress.
In this list, you can:
- View work-in-progress documents
- Monitor and change work-in-progress document statuses
- View work-in-progress document transaction records
- Edit work-in-progress documents

To help you process work-in-progress documents, 1C:Drive offers the Work-in-progress management workplace. In the workplace, you can quickly view statuses of work-in-progress documents, complete operations, generate production tasks, or generate subcontractor orders issued.
To open the workplace:
- Go to Production.
- Under Planning, click Work-in-progress management.
To analyze work-in-progress documents, use the following report:
