Monitoring and changing production task statuses
A production task has a lifecycle status, which indicates the current step in the production task processing.
Lifecycle status of each production task is displayed in the Status column of the Production tasks list.
To view the list:
- Go to Production.
- Under Production, click Production tasks.
By default, the following lifecycle statuses are available:
- Open. Indicates that a production task has not been processed yet.
- In progress. Indicates that a production task is being processed.
- Completed. Indicates that a production task was completed.
- Suspended. Indicates that a production task is on hold for some reason. For example, the production task assignee is on the sick leave.
- Canceled. Indicates that a production task is canceled.
- Split. Indicates that a production task is split into several production tasks.
The lifecycle status of a production task changes as follows:
- When you register a production task, its lifecycle status is automatically set to Open.
- When you start or resume processing the production task, manually change the lifecycle status to In progress.
- When you temporarily pause processing of the production task, manually change the lifecycle status to Suspended.
- When the operation contained in the production task is completed, manually change the lifecycle status to Completed.
- When you split the production task into several smaller ones, its lifecycle status is automatically set to Split.
- When you cancel the production task, its lifecycle status is automatically set to Canceled.
To change status of a production task:
- In the Production tasks list, click the production task.
- Above the list, click Actions and select a status.
