Creating fixed asset groups
1C:Drive stores all fixed assets in the Fixed assets catalog. You can classify the fixed assets into groups, for example, by fixed asset type or useful life. Groups make it easier to navigate through the catalog when fixed assets are numerous.
To create a fixed asset group:
- Go to Company.
- Under Fixed assets, click Fixed assets.
- In the Fixed assets catalog, click Create group.
- In the displayed window, fill in the following fields:
Field Description Description A group name or short description. Code A group ID. Group A group that this group is included in.
Keep the field blank if you do not want to include a group in another group.
The parent group list includes the groups already existing in the Fixed assets list. - Click Save and close.
The fixed asset group appears as a folder in the Fixed assets list.

- Do either of the following:
- Drag-and-drop a fixed asset line to a group.
