1.2.1. Requirements to servers designed for server cluster operation

<< Prev   Next >>

Requirements for working servers included in 1C:Enterprise server cluster:

  • Operating systems:
    • Windows OS:
      • Supported versions:
        • Windows: versions Vista Service Pack 2, 7 Service Pack 1, 8.0, 8.1, 10, 11.
        • Windows Server: Versions 2003, 2008 Service Pack 2, 2008 R2 Service Pack 1, 2012, 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022.
      • Ensure that the latest operating system updates are downloaded and installed.
    • Linux:
      • Supported versions:
        • Astra Linux:
          • Common Edition: version 2.12.
          • Special Edition: version 1.6.
        • CentOS: version 7.
        • Debian: versions 9, 10.
        • Mint: versions 19, 20.
        • Oracle Linux: versions 7, 8.
        • Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL): versions 7, 8.
        • Ubuntu: versions 18.04 LTS, 20.04 LTS.
        • ALT Linux: versions 8 SP, Education 9, Workstation 9, Workstation K 9, Server 9, Education 10, Workstation 10, Workstation K 10, Server 10.
        • RED: version 7.3.
  • CPU: x86-64 processor (Intel with Intel 64 supported, AMD with AMD64 supported). Multiple cores or processors are recommended because they affect the 1C:Enterprise 8 server cluster throughput especially having many concurrent users.
  • RAM: at least 4GB (8 GB or more recommended). 1C:Enterprise 8 server cluster working processes might require significant RAM capacity at the peak.
  • USB port is required for 1C:Enterprise server cluster hardware key.

1C:Enterprise supports the following database management systems (DBMS):

  • IBM Db2
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • Oracle Database
  • PostgreSQL

See general list of supported DBMS versions in article 1.5. Supported DBMS. If you have a 64-bit operating system, use 64-bit DBMS versions (if any).

Make sure that a computer running a DBMS server is in compliance with requirements applicable to any relevant DBMS version described in more detail in DBMS documentation. The bitness of DBMS server can differ from that of 1C:Enterprise server.
