How to create an attached files functionality for a catalog which is created in the extension

Question: I have created my own catalog in the extension. Now I wish to include my catalog in the built in attached files functionality of 1C:Drive (or any configuration which uses the Standard Subsystems Library) configuration. How can I achieve this?

Answer: If the configuration does not support compatibility with 1C:Enterprise Platform version 8.3.20 or higher, it is not possible to achieve this using the extension (since versions less than 8.3.20 do not allow changing defined types in extension etc.). In such cases, it is advisable to construct the functionality yourself from scratch in the extension. Attached to this article is a .dt file which contains a fully functional attached files functionality. Please download and setup the .dt file and examine the infobase. The infobase uses asynchronous methods exclusively, so it can be used with web client or mobile client too.
