1C:Enterprise Server is not working: Basic troubleshooting
Question: 1C:Enterprise Server does not seem to be working, no server clusters are shown in the 1C:Enterprise Server Administration. From where should I start looking for the cause?
Answer: You could begin with checking these:
- Check that the connection port (by default 1541) is available by running the Command Prompt as administrator and executing the following command:
C:\ProgramFiles\1cv8\8.3.16.1876\bin\ragent.exe -srvc -agent -regport 1541 -port
- Open the Task Manager, go to the Details page, check that these processes exist and their Status is “Running”:
rphost.exe
rmngr.exe
ragent.exe
conhost.exe
- Open the Services, check that 1C:Enterprise 8.3 Server Agent exists and it’s Status is “Running”. Open the 1C:Enterprise 8.3 Server Agent service by double left clicking on it, from the opened dialog check the “Path to executable”, if the platform version and port is correct.
- From the SQL Server Configuration Manager, check that SQL Server Agent’s Status is “Running”.
