Working with 1C:Enterprise platform licenses in Mac OS X


When you activate a 1C:Enterprise platform client license on a Mac OS X computer, the platform's mechanism of protection against unauthorized use binds the license to the key computer parameters:

Among these parameters, there is the network name of the computer.

 

If you use your Mac OS X computer in different networks, by default, its network name may change depending on the network you connect the computer to. As a result, you may need to restore the client license every time you connect your computer to another network.

 

To avoid this excessive license restoration, before acquiring the client license, set the permanent network name (hostname) of your computer:
