Creating default account types
To decide whether you need to create a default account type, see Default account type overview.
To create a default account type:
- Go to Accounting.
- Under Account settings, click Default account types.
- In the Default account types workplace, click Create.
- In the Default account type (create) window, enter or select the following:
Field Description Description A default account type name. Company A company that the default account type is applicable to.
A list of companies is based on the Companies catalog. To make the default account type applicable to all companies, keep the field blank.Type of accounting The type of accounting that the default account type is applicable to. Chart of accounts The chart of accounts that the default account type is applicable to. - In the Filters section, click Add and specify the following:
Field Description Priority A number that indicates a filter parameter priority. The smaller the number, the higher the priority. To increase the filter parameter priority, select the filter parameter line and click . To decrease the filter parameter priority, select the filter parameter line and click
.
By this priority, 1C:Drive will search the Default accounts list to determine an account appropriate for an accounting entry. This applies if, instead of a certain account, the accounting entries template has the default account settings such as a default account type, its rules, and conditions. The most appropriate account is a default account with the filter parameter values matching the default account settings in the accounting entries template. If several default accounts have the matching settings, the accounting entry is filled in with the account that has the highest total priority of the filter parameters.Parameter A filter parameter. By filter parameter, 1C:Drive will search the Default accounts list to determine an account appropriate for an accounting entry. This applies in the same case as described for the Priority field.
For example, the filter parameter is based on the Product data type. Then you can add a default account rule to fill an account in an accounting entry depending on a product.
To select a filter parameter:- Click
.
The Select parameter window is displayed. It shows the 1C:Drive catalogs and enumerations. - Select the catalog or enumeration to be applied as a filter parameter.
- Click Select.
The filter parameter is added.
You can add up to 4 filter parameters. - Click
- In the Accounts section, click Add and specify the following:
Field Description Account reference name A reference name for an account that belongs to this default account type. By the reference name, 1C:Drive will search the Default accounts list to determine an account appropriate for an accounting entry. This applies in the same case as described for the Priority field.
An account reference name can indicate the account purpose. For example, you can specify an account reference name "Accounts payable", then associate an account "Accounts payable in USD" with this reference name. For details, see Creating default accounts..You can add as many account reference names as you need. - Click Save and close.
The new default account type appears in the Default account types workplace.
