Opening balances overview
Opening balances are assets and liabilities your company possesses at the beginning of the first accounting period, including:
- Amounts in cash or bank accounts
- Warehouse stock
- Outstanding receivables or payables
- And more
It is recommended that you enter the opening balances for your company before you start working with 1C:Drive.
1C:Drive stores all opening balances in the Opening balance entries list. To open it:
- Go to Company.
- Under See also, click Opening balance entry.

To help you quickly enter the most common opening balances (such as bank account amounts or warehouse stock), 1C:Drive offers the Opening balances wizard.
To open the wizard:
- Go to Quick menu.
- Under Initial data setup, click Opening balances wizard.
