Sales territories catalog
A sales territory is a territory where a customer legally operates.
In 1C:Drive, you can use a sales territory as a sales target dimension to analyze planned and actual sales by sales territory. To do this, create sales territories, specify them in customer cards (in the Counterparties catalog, define sales targets for sales territories, and then use specific reports for sales analysis. 1C:Drive stores all sales territories in the Sales territories catalog. To open it:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Catalogs, click Sales territories.

Viewing sales territories
To view sales territories:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Catalogs, click Sales territories.
The Sales territories list shows the details of all sales territories. The details may vary depending on the list settings. By default, the following columns are available:
- Description. The name or short description of a sales territory.
- Code. A sales territory ID.
To quickly find a sales territory in the list:
- Sort the list by clicking the column header. To change the sorting order, click the header again.
- Search the list using the search field above the list.
Creating sales territories
To create a sales territory:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Catalogs, click Sales territories.
- In the Sales territories catalog, click Create.
- In the Sales territory (create) window, enter or select the following:
Field Description Description A sales territory name or short description. Parent A sales territory that includes this sales territory.
The list of available sales territories is based on the Sales territories catalog. - Click Save and close.
Editing sales territories
To edit a sales territory:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Catalogs, click Sales territories.
- In the Sales territories catalog, double-click a sales territory line.
- Edit the sales territory details as described in Creating sales territories.
- Click Save and close.
