Shift closure (z-report) document overview
A shift closure (z-report) is a document that summarizes sales and product return transactions completed on a specific cash register during the cash register shift. A shift closure (z-report) document is usually generated at the end of a business day.
A shift closure (z-report) document is used in the following processes:
In 1C:Drive, each time a shift is opened for a cash register of the Fiscal data recorder type, a draft shift closure (z-report) document is automatically generated. This draft only indicates the shift opening time and contains general details. They include cash register name, company name, retail warehouse name, and others. To complete the shift closure (z-report) document, fill in the sales transaction data and post the document. For details, see Generating shift closure (z-report) documents.
For a cash register of the Standalone type, create a shift closure (z-report) document manually from scratch. For details, see Creating shift closure (z-report) documents manually.
1C:Drive stores all shift closure (z-report) documents in the Shift closures list. To process the documents, use this list. To open it:
- Go to Sales.
- Under Retail sales, click Shift closure (z-report).
