Creating reconciliation statements
To create a reconciliation statement:
- Do one of the following:
- Go to Sales and under Settlements with customers, click Reconciliation statements. Then, in the Reconciliation statements list, click Create.
- Go to Purchases and under Settlements with suppliers, click Reconciliation statements. Then, in the Reconciliation statements list, click Create.
- Specify general details:
- Select Company to create a reconciliation statement for.
The Company field is available if the Manage multiple companies checkbox is selected in Settings > Company. - Specify Counterparty to create a reconciliation statement for.
- Fill in Period from..to to indicate reconciliation period.
- Fill in other fields as necessary.
- Select Company to create a reconciliation statement for.
- On the Balance per company's book tab, specify the details of transactions with the selected counterparty according to the company's records:
- To fill in transaction details automatically, click Fill in.
The filled in transaction details are based on 1C:Drive documents that changed the counterparty's balance within the selected reconciliation period. - To add transaction details manually, click Add and fill in a transaction details. For details, see Balance per company's book tab.
- To fill in transaction details automatically, click Fill in.
- In the Responsible person field, specify an employee responsible for processing the reconciliation statement.
- On the Balance per counterparty's book tab, specify the details of transactions with the selected counterparty according to the counterparty's records:
- To automatically fill in transaction details corresponding to the transaction details from the Balance per company's book tab, click Copy company's book.
Each filled in line indicates a transaction opposite to the corresponding transaction on the Balance per company's book tab. For example, that tab contains a supplier invoice line with the Credits amount of USD1000. Then, a sales invoice line with the Debits amount of USD1000 is filled in on the Balance per counterparty's book tab.
Note. You can also populate the transaction dates from the Balance per company's book tab by clicking Inherit source dates. This populates the transaction dates that were automatically filled on the source tab. - To add transaction details manually, click Add and fill in a transaction details. For details, see Balance per counterparty's book tab.
- To automatically fill in transaction details corresponding to the transaction details from the Balance per company's book tab, click Copy company's book.
- (Optional) On the Additional information tab, specify additional information about the reconciliation statement.
- Click Post and close.
