Creating RFQs
To create an RFQ:
- Go to Purchases.
- Under Purchases, click Requests for quotation.
- In the Requests for quotation list, click Create.
- Specify an RFQ's general details:
- Subject. An RFQ subject.
- Closing date. An RFQ expiration date.
- Fill in the remaining fields as necessary.
- On the Description of requirements tab, specify your requirements to the goods that you want to buy.
- On the Suppliers tab, specify the suppliers to address an RFQ to. Use any of the following options:
- To import suppliers list from a spreadsheet file, click
and follow the data import wizard instructions. - To add suppliers manually, click Add and fill in supplier details. For details, see Suppliers tab.
After specifying suppliers and their contact details, you can generate an RFQ email and send it to the suppliers. To learn more, see Sending RFQs to suppliersTo delete a supplier from the list, right-click it and select Delete. - To import suppliers list from a spreadsheet file, click
- On the Products tab, specify the products that you want to purchase. Use any of the following options:
- To import product list from a spreadsheet file, click
and follow the data import wizard instructions. - To select products from the Products catalog, click Select. For details, see Product selection in business documents.
- To add products manually, click Add and fill in product details. For details, see Products tab.

- Optional: On the Additional information tab, specify additional information about an RFQ.
