A document that stores accounting entries based on data from business documents included in a list of accounting source documents.

Accounting transaction documents can be used when a company 's business process requires to manage accounting and business data separately. For example, in a business process, a procurement manager creates and monitors business documents and an accountant generates (if required) and monitors accounting entries.
