Creating financial report templates

To create a financial report template:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • Go to Financial accounting. This applies if the default type of accounting is used (Use default type of accounting is selected in Settings > Company).
    • Go to Accounting. This applies if template-based types of accounting are used (Use template based types of accounting is selected in Settings > Company).
  2. Under Financial reporting, click Report templates.
  3. In the Financial report templates list, click Create.
  4. Fill in general details of the report template:
    • Description. The report template name or short description.
    • Type of accounting. The type of accounting that a report template is created for. The Type of accounting field is available if template-based types of accounting are used (Use template based types of accounting is selected in Settings > Company).
    • Chart of accounts. The chart of accounts that a report template is based on. The Chart of accounts field is available if template-based types of accounting are used (Use template based types of accounting is selected in Settings > Company).
    • Other details as necessary.
  5. On the New items tab, double-click or drag the data items to add them to the report template. You can add the following types of data items:

    For details on how to add and set up a data item in the report template section, click the data item link.

    To remove a data item from the report template section, right-click the data item and select Delete.

    To change a data item position in the report template section, select the data item and click arrow_up or arrow_down to move the data item up or down.

    You might want to add data items from an existing report template to your new report template. To do this, on the Existing items tab, set Filter to an existing report template. The list of its data items appears. Double-click or drag data items from this list to your report template section. To quickly find a certain data item, enter its name in the search field above the list and click or press Enter.
  6. Optional: To preview a report based on this report template, click Preview report.
    1C:Drive generates the report. If required, you can change the report preview settings and generate the report preview again.
  7. Click Save and close.

The created report template appears in the Financial report templates list. To be able to apply a financial report template for generating reports, include this template in a financial report set and change the report set status to Active. You can do this in the Financial reports workplace. To open it:

  1. Do one of the following:
    • If the default type of accounting is used, go to Financial accounting.
    • If template-based types of accounting are used, go to Accounting.
  2. Under Financial reporting, click Report sets.

Report preview settings

When you create a financial report template, you can click Preview report to preview a report based on this template. If required, you can change the report preview settings and generate the report preview again. To do this:

  1. In the right section of the report preview, specify the following settings:
    Setting Description
    <start date> - <end date> The report period.
    Currency Indicates that all amounts in the report are shown in a company's presentation currency.
    Companies Indicates whether a report preview is generated for certain companies only.
    To preview the report for all companies registered in 1C:Drive, clear the checkbox. To preview the report for certain companies only, select the checkbox. Then click Select, select one or more companies, and click Select. To select multiple companies, hold down Shift or Ctrl.
    Amounts in thousands Indicates whether a report preview shows amounts in thousands.
    Select the checkbox to show the amounts in thousands. In this case, 1C:Drive divides each amount by 1000 and rounds the result to the nearest integer number.
    Auto-hide settings panel Indicates whether these report settings are hidden when a report preview is generated. Select the checkbox to hide the settings. You will be able to open them by clicking Show settings.
    If the settings are missing, this means the settings pane is hidden. To open it, click Show settings.
  2. Click Generate report.

The report preview is generated according to the specified settings.
