Troubleshooting empty reports


Question: I have posted some Sales invoices but when I generate the related reports, like Stock Statement, they are empty. I have checked the Inventory accumulation registers, and all the records are there. What can I do?

Answer: As a rule empty reports are shown if no matching data has been found.
If all the records are there, there must be a filter of some sort preventing the report from displaying this data.

Here are some troubleshooting advices:

1. Try checking the report filters

Important! New fields added to the report Filters, in the report settings, are not shown in the header.

2. Try a different report option.

3. Basic and Advanced settings are different. Make sure to check both of them for any settings that may be responsible for filtering data from the report.
