How to enable product variants

Product variants in 1C:Drive offer businesses the ability to efficiently manage and present a diverse range of products to their customers. By enabling variations such as different sizes, colors, or materials for a single product, businesses can enhance inventory management and effectively track sales and stock levels for each unique product combination.

Variants are not enabled in 1C:Drive by default. In order to start using product variants:

1. Go to Settings > Accounting settings > Purchases / Warehouse > Inventory (products) and select Inventory accounting by variants checkbox. Now, you can enable variants for product categories.
   
   
   
   2. Go to Company > All catalogs > Product categories. Create a new category (or edit an existing one) and select Variants checkbox. Now, you can create products with variants in this category.
   
   
   
   3. Finally, go to Purchases or Sales > Catalogs > Products and create a new product. Specify the above product category on General tab and select Variants checkbox on Additional data tab.
   
   

Now, you can create variants for your product.
