Sales tax when selling a fixed asset

Question: For a United States accounting policy, it is possible to enable the sales tax support.

In this instance, in sales documents (for example, sales orders), the Sales tax percentage field is displayed.

However, when selling a fixed asset, there is no such field.

How to support the sales tax in the Fixed asset sale document?

Answer: Currently, in out-of-the-box 1C:Drive configuration, the Fixed asset sale document has no sales tax support.

As a workaround, you can write off fixed assets as expenses, like you do upon sale, and register income via a sales invoice where you sell a virtual service.
