How to change the numbering sequence of a document

The auto-numbering function in 1C:Drive creates a new record in the Numbering Information register whenever a document is created.

This sequence increments the value of the series with any document that is created, and decrements every time a document is deleted, following the assumption that the last document in the sequence was deleted.

For example: The numbering sequence is currently at 3. This means a new document will have number 4 and the numbering sequence will be incremented to 4.

If we delete this document #4, the sequence will be reverted to 3.

However, if we delete a document that is not the last in the sequence, then the sequence will stay unchanged.

To change the numbering sequence, you have to access the Numbering information register through the Functions for technician menu.

You need to find the Document type, open it and change the current number field.
