Available stock vs. stock summary

Question: I have consumed all of some material for a production order, but when I run the stock summary report I still can see tose materials, why?

Answer: The stock summary report works like a history or timeline of all the material or products that have ever been in our inventory. Even if consumed in their totality, products or materials will still show in this report.

We still can use this report to know the quantity of products or materials in our inventory. We have to pay attention to the Closing balance column.

For better understanding of the quantity of products of materials that you may have on the inventory you can use the Available stock report, this report will show the available quantity to available for use across all warehouse and companies, is a much simpler report and it helps to better understand the contents of our inventory.
